Godzilla’s Elizabeth Olsen In Talks For Scarlet Witch For The Avengers 2

On top of the Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket Raccoon news in Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s now said that Marvel Studios is in talks with Elizabeth Olsen to play the Scarlet Witch in The Avengers 2.

Saoirse Ronan was said to be Joss Whedon’s model for the character in The Avengers 2, with the actress stating it was just a rumor.

Now with Ronan seemingly out of the picture, it’s reported that Elizabeth Olsen, starring in the Gareth Edwards Godzilla 2014 movie from Legendary and Warner Bros., is in talks for the role.

The Hollywood Reporter says that multiple sources have filled them in that Olsen is in negotiations with Olsen to play the Scarlet Witch in The Avengers: The Age of Ultron.

If talks work out between Marvel Studios and Elizabeth Olsen, the younger sister of Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, she may play alongside fellow Godzilla actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson who is currently in negotiations for the role of Quicksilver.

The Avengers 2 hits May 1, 2015.
