Update: Godzilla teaser leaks online.
Godzilla fans may only have to wait a little while longer for their first peek at the highly anticipated kaiju movie as the trailer might be released on Sunday, November 3rd.
A Godzilla fan site, GodzillaMovies, posted the date on their Twitter.
It’s unknown if it’s simply wishful thinking, but Legendary and Warner Bros. could be releasing the first Godzilla teaser trailer to be attached to movies for the upcoming week, such as with Thor 2.
Gareth Edward has already debuted two Godzilla teasers at Comic-Con with various leaks hitting the net only to have WB and Legendary yank them. The latest teaser revealed a spider-like Kaiju that was dwarfed by the size of Godzilla, said to be the largest version of the monster ever.
In addition, a movie poster leaked, but for some reason that was again pulled down as it seems Legendary and Gareth Edwards are not yet ready to unleash the beast.
Hopefully soon!
Godzilla opens May 16, 2014 in 3D starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn and Bryan Cranston. The screenplay is by Max Borenstein, Frank Darabont, and Dave Callaham.
Synopsis:
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
