If you remember the Lord of the Rings movies, you know that it was filmed at certain angles so as to let the actors playing the Hobbits look a lot smaller than the rest of the characters in the movie.
Well, what about the chickens?
An astute user at Reddit.com discovered that The Hobbit features gigantic chickens.
While we don’t think they are related to Guillermo Del Toro’s Pacifc Rim Kaiju, it could be that the Hobbit’s are just good at raising them.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14th, 2012 with the sequel, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, a year later on December 13th, 2013, followed by The Hobbit: There And Back Again on July 18th, 2014.
Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey with Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins.
Also reprising their roles from “The Lord of the Rings” movies are: Cate Blanchett as Galadriel; Orlando Bloom as Legolas; Ian Holm as the elder Bilbo; Christopher Lee as Saruman; Hugo Weaving as Elrond; Elijah Wood as Frodo; and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
