George Romero’s Zombie Comic Book For Marvel Gets Pushed Back

Originally slated for a Fall 2013 release, it’s learned that George Romero’s upcoming Marvel zombie comic book is getting pushed back.

The legendary zombie director spoke with the Daily Dead revealing the news as well as that he has written enough to fill 15 issues.

However, Romero also lets it be known that his new zombie series will be a limited series.

As in a 15 issue limited series?

We’ll have to wait and find out until Marvel officially announces details.

George Romero also gave a clue as to the zombies that will be featured, and also said he might make a book out of it.

“I can’t really say anything about the story, but I’ll just say that the zombies are advancing even a little further,” he said. “It’s fifteen books, so it’s long. It’s the equivalent of two and a half screenplays. It’s a novel basically and, in fact, I might novelize it.”

It’s unknown when the comic book will get released, but Romero speculated possibly around Christmas.
