The Hobbit (2012): New Trailer Now Online For Tolkien Week

In conjunction with Tolkien Week and the 75th Anniversary of the publication of The Hobbit, Peter Jackson revealed a new trailer for The Hobbit today.

Warner Bros. also revealed a dozen new high-res images.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters December 14th, 2012 with the sequel, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, a year later on December 13th, 2013, followed by The Hobbit: There And Back Again on July 18th, 2014.

Ian McKellen returns as Gandalf the Grey with Martin Freeman playing Bilbo Baggins.

Also reprising their roles from “The Lord of the Rings” movies are: Cate Blanchett as Galadriel; Orlando Bloom as Legolas; Ian Holm as the elder Bilbo; Christopher Lee as Saruman; Hugo Weaving as Elrond; Elijah Wood as Frodo; and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
