Firefly’s Summer Glau Wants To Join Joss Whedon’s SHIELD TV Series

It’s recently been revealed that Clark Gregg, Agent Coulson from The Avengers movie, will come back for Joss Whedon’s new ABC Marvel Studios S.H.I.E.L.D. television series, so how about another veteran Joss Whedon actor?

We learn that Summer Glau is interested in assembling as she says she definitely wants to (via Blastr).

“I have my fingers crossed behind my back. I try not to say anything to Joss about anything he’s doing because he has so many actors, and I know we all want to work for him. So I don’t know, but if I could be a part of it in any way, of course, you know I want to.”

Summer Glau worked along side Joss Whedon on Firefly, Dollhouse and Angel and eventually went on to star in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and can be seen appearing on episodes of Syfy’s Alphas as well.

With her background in action-oriented series and roles, it sounds like Summer Glau would be a perfect Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
