Fake Image Used To Hide Atom Costume From Arrow Fans

A new preview for the mid-season finale of Arrow recently hit the web, which featured a look at Brandon Routh’s Atom suit.

It turns out the image/costume used in the promo was fake as it was meant to be a placeholder for the real costume — which has yet to be revealed.

The Green Arrow podcast site, Quiver Podcast, has confirmed the suit used in the promo is from the video game Fallout 3, and concept illustrator for Arrow, Andy Poon, stated Brandon Routh’s real suit “looks nothing like that.”

It’s speculated a first look at the Atom suit will be revealed in the mid-season finale of Arrow that airs Wednesday at 8pm ET on the CW.
