Let the console wars begin!
Or continue, as Sony announced at the E3 a complete â180â from what industry analysts have been predicting in that the PS4 would follow the lead of XBox One by hindering the used game market as well as always needing a connection to play.
Sony announced the exact opposite in that their next-gen console, the Playstation 4, will not need a connection to verify games and will support used games.
Itâs also reported that the PS4 will support selling, lending and trading of the games, with purchasing a game meaning that it is owned by the consumer forever.
Games on XBox One are more akin to a license as Microsoft revealed a whole host of complicated details for their system which has led to many unhappy consumers.
