Dwayne McDuffie Has Died

Comic Book Resources reports that writer Dwayne McDuffie has passed away.

At this time, the cause of death is unknown.

McDuffie recently wrote the script for the Warner Bros. animated “All-Star Superman,” with CBN contributing writer Don Smith recently speaking to McDuffie about the project at the NYC premiere, which went on sale today.

McDuffie was also co-founder of Milestone Media that focused on African-American creators and characters, including Static and Icon.

The writer was well known for his work on the popular “Justice League Unlimited” and “Ben 10” cartoons, as well.

Readers of CBN will recall McDuffie’s recent run on the Fantastic Four.
