Dwayne Johnson to Star in ‘Monster Hunter’s Survival Guide’; Film Adaption of Zenescope Comic Book

picDwayne Johnson has been cookin’ up a lot as of late, and now The Rock is set to star in a movie version of the Zenescope comic book, Monster Hunter’s Survival Guide.

The comic book mini series by John Paul Russ is described by Deadline as “a comprehensive guide to hunt monsters, the undead and unnatural beasts, and survive the confrontations.”

Johnson posted a message with the comic book cover on his Facebook, with the following:

“Bad guys, good guys and monsters – I HUNT ‘EM ALL. Boots To Monster Asses.”

Johnson is currently filming G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation, in addition to preparing for this Sunday’s WWE pay-per-view event, Survivor Series, which is setting up a “one on one with the Great One” confrontation with superstar John Cena at Wrestlemania XXVIII. Johnson can also be found in Journey 2: The Mysterious Island out February 10th, 2012.
