Dwayne Johnson has been cast in the Shazam movie as Black Adam, who is seemingly the film’s villain.

Earlier today in a Twitter QnA, Johnson had the following to say about the character:

Shazam has a 2019 release; no other specific details are known including what actor will play the titular hero.

Dwayne Johnson did previously reveal the Shazam movie will not be affected by the Justice League movie or Batman Vs. Superman.
