Warner Bros. has made it official that Dune: Part Two has been pushed back to 2024.
Dune: Part Two was originally set for a Nov. 3, 2023 release date but now will be released on March 15, 2024.
A previous report back in July from Variety offered the release date would be shifted due to the ongoing actors and writers strike.
Since the strike isnât over and is said to be going on until the end of the year, that would mean the stars of the movie, including Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya, wouldnât be able to promote the film.
As a result, Warner Bros. has also shifted the release dates for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire from that March 15 release date to April 12, 2024, and WB also has delayed The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim animated film from April 12, 2024 to Dec. 13, 2024.
