Avengers: Doomsday finally has a runtime, straight from one of its directors.
Anthony Russo says the movie comes in at around two and a half hours.
He gave the number in a new interview with Fandango promoting both Avengers: Endgame Encore and Doomsday.

“A Focused, Propulsive Narrative”
The number came up while Russo explained how he and Joe Russo fit the film’s massive cast into one story.
“At the end of the day, you’re telling a focused story,” Russo said. “It’s a two and a half hour movie or so, and you’re sitting through it, and it’s a focused, propulsive narrative that has an organizing principle at its center, and everything has to orbit around that.”
“That’s part of the creative challenge for Joe and I, just figuring out what that orbit is and how it all smashes together,” he continued.
Worth noting Russo said “or so,” so treat it as a ballpark from the director and not an official locked runtime from Marvel.

How It Compares To Infinity War And Endgame
Two and a half hours puts Doomsday right at Avengers: Infinity War, which runs 2 hours and 29 minutes.
Avengers: Endgame runs 3 hours and 1 minute, so Doomsday lands about a half hour shorter than the movie it follows.
And that is with a huge ensemble. Marvel announced 27 names in its chair livestream, and the list has grown since.
The Russos covered a lot more in the same sit-down, including how Doctor Doom compares to Thanos, a warning about the ending, and the Shang-Chi vs. Gambit fight.
Avengers: Doomsday opens in theaters on December 18, 2026. Avengers: Endgame Encore is in theaters now.
