[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4344:]]No. It’s not Back To The Future Part II, but it sure sounds similar.
Last month it was announced that Michael Bay was backing a new film project, Almanac, but with little else known.
Now, apparently, details have surfaced and it seems to resemble Marty McFly’s second romp in the Delorian, though of course unrelated.
The movie is said to be about a geeky student, David, who tries to impress some girl by winning the science fair.
Nope, not Spider-Man, either.
David is said to go through his dad’s closet where he discovers two things: something that enables him to time travel and a sports almanac.
Well, David and a couple of his buddies use the device(?) traveling to the past and end up mucking up the timeline.
The found-footage film is said to be in the vein of Chronicle, according to Bleeding Cool, and also hopes to have some much needed quality casting as well.
Dean Israelite will be getting his directorial debut through Bay’s Platinum Dunes production studio.
