Denzel Washington Rumored For Green Lantern John Stewart

The latest rumor surrounding Denzel Washington is that the 59-year-old actor is up for the role of Green Lantern John Stewart.

More than likely it’s just a rumor as Washington seems way too old for the role. Previously his name popped up in a rumor connected to Lex Luthor as well, which more than likely isn’t happening; however, the website Nuke The Fridge says Denzel Washington is being considered for Green Lantern. If anything, maybe it confirms WB will be going with the John Stewart Green Lantern after the disaster that was the 2011 movie.

Gal Gadot was most recently named to be the latest DC hero with Wonder Woman in Batman Vs. Superman joining Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman.

Regarding Lex Luthor, the latest is that Joaquin Phoenix is wanted for the role.

Batman Vs. Superman has a July 17, 2015 release.
