Deadpool Movie, Wolverine 2 Set To Go Into Production; Ryan Renolds Still Attached

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:374:]]Rob Liefeld, the comic book creator of Deadpool, recently teased that he saw 8 minutes of movie studio test footage.

Following that, The Geek Files, a blog of the Coventry Telegraph out of the UK, has it that Fox wants the Deadpool movie to go into production this year, and they state that Ryan Reynolds is still attached.

In addition, they also have it that Wolverine 2, starring Hugh Jackman, is set to “definitely” go into production this year.

Apparently the new Deadpool movie will have nothing to do with the Merc With The Mouth’s previous appearance on the big screen, but more with the comic book version, and it is even stated Deadpool may poke fun at his appearance in Origins.

Wolverine 2 has also it its ups and down, with directors coming and going in addition to production supposedly getting scheduled.

Hopefully things are underway for both movies.
