DC Relaunch: Justice League #1 has pre-orders for more than 200,000

The LA Times Hero Complex has an article up on the DC Relaunch that basically recaps all the news most of us have been following for the past few months.

What is also included is a few sales figures in relation to some of the new titles.

For one, it is stated that “‘Justice League No. 1’, has pre-orders for more than 200,000 print copies, which would make it the bestselling title of 2011.”

In addition, “Six other new DC No. 1’s already have more than 100,000 pre-orders.”

I would say that as a good sign for DC – to say the least. And these numbers do not include digital sales, as DC is releasing them on the same day as print copies are available.

The question is: Can they keep it up?

Personally, I am going to be giving a majority – if not all – of their new number 1’s a shot. I’m curious how many of the new 52 can keep me.
