As many fans like to do, they voice their feelings, thoughts and concerns for their favorite comic book movies, and when it comes to Batman the fanbase is more vocal than ever.

We saw this when Ben Affleck was named to be the new Batman and also with Justin Bieber teasing Robin.

So will the fans influence or pressure writer David Goyer, the man behind Batman Vs. Superman as well as the heavy favorite to pen the Justice League movie?

Goyer offers if he lets that happen, it would curtail his creative instincts.

“If I try to think about ‘well, what would the fans like…?’ then you stop being creative,” Goyer told the Associated Press.

Speaking of being creative and not letting the fans take control, it could be argued we saw Goyer and director Zack Snyder’s creatively flow freely with the conclusion to the Man of Steel.

Goyer and Snyder went against Christopher Nolan’s advice and had Superman kill Zod. Goyer recently stated they knew it was going to be controversial, but didn’t want to have “Superman not killing” as a crutch, opting for a situation where both Superman and Zod were put into an impossible situation.

Update: The full video has been made available including Goyer talking Batman Vs. Superman and more.

The sequel to “Man of Steel” goes into production next year for a July 17, 2015 release also starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
