The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Christian Bale Would Do More Batman Movies! How about Justice League?

Earlier we reported on a story where Christian Bale stated he was hanging up the Bat suit for good. Actually, I believe he has said that on more than one occasion.

However, in the latest issue of Empire Magazine (via WorstPreviews), Bale seems to say – maybe not.

“All I know is the likelihood that this will be the last one,” Bale explained. “Well, I wouldn’t say definitely. If Chris goes, ‘Hey, I’ve got another story I think could be interesting,’ then yeah, great, I’d go do that. I always assumed it would be three, but I could be wrong.”

This is a rather interesting development in that director Christopher Nolan has stated that he will be directing no more new Batman movies.

However, back in November we were tipped off to some early Justice League movie plans where it was stated Christopher Nolan would be on as producer. Could Bale be part of that?

Or I don’t suppose Nolan isn’t finished quite yet?

Could be just Bale thinking out loud.
