The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Batman, Catwoman, Batwing Rooftop Scene Spoilers

While The Dark Knight Rises was filming in lower Manhattan, the Batwing was spotted on the rooftop of a building.

Then, a day later, more images surfaced from the same set location featuring Batman.

Now, we have what seems to be a few more details about that scene.

A stunt man recently mentioned filming a scene on a rooftop with both the Batwing and Batman present.

That’s not all, as stuntman Mark DeAlessandro told ActionFest that Anne Hathaway as Catwoman was there, too.

Still more, as DeAlessandro said the scene involves hand-to-hand combat with 12 of Bane’s Mercenaries — of which he played one.

I’m one of the featured mercenaries in The Dark Knight Rises that is coming out soon. I got to do some really cool hand to hand combat with 12 mercenaries. Anne Hathoway is there in her nice Catwoman outfit and Christian Bale as Batman. It is on a rooftop and the Bat Copter is there which is the bomb. It was unbelievable.

Well, as I told you before, Batman uses the Batwing to take out the high-jacked Tumblers. The Gotham PD are battling it out with Bane’s henchmen on the streets of Gotham, when the extras were given the order to — “look to the skies!” This is when the Batwing flies in to take out Bane’s vehicles.

The above mentioned scene could be Batman fighting his way to the Batwing with Catwoman’s help as he readies for take off.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra’s al Ghul.
