Dan Abnett Writing He-Man Arc For DC Comics

The DC Comics October solicits revealed a nice surprise in that Dan Abnett will be coming on board He-Man for an arc starting with issue 7.

We also see that Rafael Kayana will be filling in on the art chores.

Abnett will be writing He-Man issues 7-12.

Both Keith Giffen and artist Pop Mhan are slated to return as they are working ahead, which is said to be a planned break.

Pop Mhan revealed the info on his Facebook:

Peeps: relax. I haven’t been fired from He-man. Issues 7-12 are a story arc from the fabulous Dan Abnett. Truth be told, I’d love to work with Dan, drawing those issues too. However, during the time Dan and crew are doing their issues, Keith and I will be getting ahead. This break was slated in the schedule months ago. End of public service announcement.
