[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4981:]]Jaimie Alexander is set to return to the big screen as the Asgardian warrioress Sif in Thor 2, "The Dark World," this year.
She is one of a few recent actors that have brought any respect to female superheroes.
Alexander recently spoke with MTV and mentioned her thoughts on perhaps the most iconic female superhero of them all with Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman was set to return to television with Adrianne Palicki on NBC; however, that was eventually passed on with the CW bringing the latest incarnation of Wonder Woman to TV with "Amazon," about a teenage Wonder Woman entering the world of man for the first time.
Wonder Woman is also set to appear in the 2015 Justice League movie, but it looks as if Jaimie Alexander wouldn't take the role if offered.
She says, "I used to be [interested], but then I've seen how many failed attempts there have been in making it. It's embarrassing for me as a woman, seeing what they did with that TV show."
Alexander continues with mention of the look of Wonder Woman and how it's not too inviting for half the audience.
"Let's talk about this for a second. You have very few female superheroes dominating films these days, unless they're in a skin tight outfit and their b--bs are pushed up to their chin. It's not okay. All she does is sit and eat ice cream while she's crying over a boy. I know that never aired, but that's what the script said," Alexander stated.
So what should Wonder Woman be like according to Sif?
"There needs to be a positive role model. If you're going to make 'Wonder Woman,' make it like 'The Bourne Supremacy. Let's do something awesome like that. Like 'Alias.' That was a fantastic show. Why can't we do that? Why does she have to be in hot pants and spandex? I get it, it's visually stunning for half of the people, but at least make her grow a pair!"
Alexander also says she always wanted to play X-23 and Jubilee, but she's too old for those characters now.
