[[wysiwyg_imageupload:6325:]]Guardians of the Galaxy from James Gunn is currently in production in London, and so far two casting announcements have come in the form of Chris Pratt as the film's lead, Peter Quill Star-Lord, and Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer, the sworn enemy of Thanos.

We know the movie is set 95% is space and in another galaxy, with the Guardians of the Galaxy looking to be Earth's last defense against the likes of the Mad Titan Thanos or some other "cosmic force of epic proportions."

Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man is rumored for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and if by all accounts the rumors are true, Tony Stark will aid the Guardians in their battle in space or end up late to the show, but arriving just in time to warn his fellow assemblers, The Avengers, of the oncoming cosmic threat.

Rounding out the known cast of comic book characters for the Guardians of the Galaxy movie includes Gamora, the adoptive daughter of Thanos, known as the most dangerous woman in the universe, as well as the highly intelligent and highly skilled tactician known as Rocket Raccoon, who is aided by the Monarch of Planet X, the three-word-speaking regenerating sprig, "I AM" Groot.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Comic Con art may have also revealed that the rag-tag team of cosmic assemblers will not be alone in the battle as they may have the Nova Corps battling side-by-side whatever is thrown at them along with possibly the Nova Prime, Richard Rider.

It's also quite possible more characters will be involved in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie such as Doctor Strange, Adam Warlock - or has been rumored - the Asgardian god, the god of thunder, Thor.

With that, this really cool Guardians of the Galaxy movie poster has popped up online, fan-made by DiamondDesignHD, revealing Dave Bautista as what he may look in his Drax The Destroyer guise, in addition to versions of the other characters.

Currently,'s best guest about the movie is that based on James Gunn's previous works, and based on the comic books from Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, the movie will not be a Disney kiddie feature with a "talking Raccoon" and tree, but will be a war movie.

As CBN's very own Timelord described the Guardians of the Galaxy, they are what is "evocative of the best of WWII stories – like The Dirty Dozen.  A group of reformed criminals and misfits band together to right universal wrongs from their base inside the head of a deceased Celestial literally floating along the edge of the universe is not only “high concept,” but fresh and interesting.  Literally – it’s interesting enough to inspire a big budget Hollywood movie."
