Director James Gunn has confirmed the Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-Ray will be released on December 9th.
Yesterday saw confirmation of the Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-Ray having a Holiday release by an Australian electronics store as well.
Gunn confirmed the release on Facebook:
Yep. Guardians of the Galaxy is out on Blu-Ray December 9 and you can pre-order it now on Amazon. There are lots of extra features that will be announced soon, but one of them is commentary by me.
