A couple of recent casting calls for Batman Vs. Superman seem to hint at an Amazon as it's suggested the actress needs to be physically fit.
While I am of the opinion it's for Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor's bodyguard/chauffeur (an Amazon in the comics) that I have been told is in the movie, it's being heavily speculated the character in question could very well be Wonder Woman.
With it looking likely that Warner Bros. is leading up to a Justice League movie as David Goyer stated he might be writing the film, it does make some sense to include Wonder Woman in Batman Vs. Superman (or any other character for that matter). However, there is the fact that adding another big name such as Wonder Woman could derail the movie as some online have noted it essentially would be Justice League instead of a Man of Steel sequel.
Shortly after the last casting call article hit the net, our DC Entertainment source offered the following, stating that Batman Vs. Superman won't feature Wonder Woman.
Wonder Woman won't be in Batman Vs. Superman. David Goyer has been working on the story since 2012, which in the initial phases was a solo Superman sequel. WB wanted Batman in it, so they reworked it as a Batman Vs. Superman story, which gave Goyer ideas for Justice League. Once Batman Vs. Superman has begun filming, Goyer will begin to flesh out the story. This is how the DCUU has developed.
While Wonder Woman may not be in the movie according to our DC Entertainment source, Max Landis recently let it be known that he plans on pitching Warner Bros. a Wonder Woman movie.
The sequel to "Man of Steel" goes into production next year for a July 17, 2015 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
