[[wysiwyg_imageupload:2394:]]Jeffrey Dean Morgan, known to comic book fans as The Comedian in Zack Snyder's The Watchmen movie, recently spoke about the Before Watchmen comic book.
The actor, who is currently starring in the horror thriller, Possession, said when he first heard about the prequel comic he laughed.
"I got to tell you when I first heard about it was actually on a press line and somebody told me about it and I laughed, and I was totally anti the whole deal," Morgan said while attending the recent Comic-Con.
And Morgan noted how Watchmen fans were so against the series.
"This is just a bad bad idea. And everybody I talked to who was a Watchmen fan, hated the idea. Hated it," he said.
But upon hearing from those same fans how into and how much they liked Before Watchmen, that he would do the movie — if Man of Steel director Zack Snyder, and Dave Gibbons were attached.
[[wysiwyg_imageupload:2395:]]"I talk to those same people now, and they're just loving this Before Watchmen.
"Yeah, man, I would want Snyder involved though. I don't know how you do it without Zack and Dave Gibbons onboard. I just don't know how that world exists without those two guys," Morgan said.
