Zack Snyder has added Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in Batman Vs. Superman.
Announced today, Zack Snyder released a statement which read:
“Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character."
Gale Gadot joins Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman in the sequel to the Man of Steel which launched a DC shared movie universe.
Gadot, an Israeli actress and model, is known for playing Gisele in the Fast and Furious movies.
In addition to Wonder Woman, it's also been said that Batman Vs. Superman will feature an appearance by The Flash in some form.
Gal Gadot was eariler rumored for a role in Batman Vs. Superman described as a "tall, brunette, athletic and exotic" character.
"Batman Vs Superman" has a July 17, 2015 release also starring Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
