Christian Bale recently offered his thoughts on whether the end to The Dark Knight Rises was a dream, and now the actor has advice for the new Batman, Ben Affleck.
While doing press for his latest movie, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Bale tells the NY Daily News he hopes Affleck has a better experience with the Batman costume.
“Be able to take a piss by yourself,” Bale offered. “I found it to be ridiculously unheroic between takes when I said, ‘Excuse me, I need to pee, could somebody undo me please?’”
Even though Christopher Nolan is known for his realism, we see that Bale’s Batman mask was anything but practical.
“I took three people 20 minutes with tools in order to take that cowl off [my] head,” Bale said.
Bale previously stated he felt they could do a fourth Batman movie, and that he actually felt a bit of regret about not doing another. Now he say he was surprised how fast another Batman is coming out.
“The baton has been passed, that’s the nature of Batman. Of course, it was passed a lot quicker than I expected, but I completely understand.”
“Exodus: Gods and Kings” has a December 12th release.
