Captain America Chris Evans Surprises Young Cancer Patient (Video)

Captain America took some time off from fighting the bad guys to visit sick kids battling cancer in Boston.

Actor Chris Evans, a Boston native, visited with Kenny Botting, who underwent surgery in September for a brain tumor.

The nine-year-old is a big Captain America fan and was super happy and surprised by the visit.

Kenny has been staying at Christophers Haven, which is a home away from home next to the hospital for children with cancer.

“It’s their strength that gives people like me strength,” Evans offered. “If there is anyway you can bring a smile or give positive words with reinforcement and encouragement, it’s worth it.”

Evans stars as Captain America in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron out May 1, 2015 and in Captain America: Civil War out May 6, 2016.
