Captain America 2 Will Have A Lot Of Easter Eggs; Thor 2 Not As Much But Lots Of Asgard

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:6893:]]Fans know that watching any Marvel Studios movie not only are they usually in for a good flick, but if they are a fan of the comic books as well, hidden Easter Eggs are included throughout the film which comes as an added bonus.

The Infinity Gauntlet in Thor comes to mind as does Captain America’s shield in Iron Man 2.

Certainly there will be even more Easter Eggs in the Marvel Studios Phase 2 movies, as we already have seen the Mandarin sporting a Captain America tattoo as well as the First Avenger’s helmet in Iron Man 3.

So what about the next pair of Marvel Studios movies with Thor 2 and Captain America 2?

We find out from the screenwriters on the movies that both will feature some, but one will feature more.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely told the Collider that Captain America 2 will have a bunch of Easter Eggs, but Thor 2 not as much; however, they did mention we’ll be seeing a lot of Asgard in the movie.

Markus: Easter Eggs more with Cap than Thor, but I think more with this one literally some of the eggs are hatching as opposed to being planted… [But] yes, there are certain locations [in The Winter Soldier] that offer the opportunity to pour out the Easter Eggs like it’s Easter.

McFeely: There are a few hopefully Blu-ray moments.  There are gonna be frames where you can pause and go, “Yep, yep, yep.”

Markus: You get a lot more Asgard in this one in a satisfying way.

Comic Book fans can rest easy and take note that Chris Yost was on the set helping for Thor 2.

McFeely: Chris Yost sort of was the guy on set, and then Don Payne who recently passed did the first draft. And then Robert Rodat did at least a draft before we came on, and then even some other people.

Markus: It’s a party line (laughs). Surprisingly, I wouldn’t let that worry you. It came out really tight.
