Candice Patton Cast As Iris West In The Flash TV Series

The Flash welcomes its third cast addition with Candice Patton as Iris West.

Deadline reports Candice Patton joins Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, aka The Flash, as well as the recent announcement of Jesse L. Martin as Detective West.

Iris West is described as the quick-witted, fast-talking best friend to Barry Allen, and Detective West’s daughter.

Candice Patton is known for The Game TV Series, The Craiglist Killer, Days of Our Lives and Heroes.

The Flash series looks to begin filming soon with a to-be-announced premiere date on the CW.
