BSG’s Tricia Helfer joins Ron Moore’s sci-fi “17th Precinct”

Add another Battlestar Galactica cast member to the list.

Tricia Helfer will be reunited with fellow BSG actors, James Callis and Jamie Bamber, on Ron Moore’s NBC sci-fi series 17th Precinct.

Moore was also the executive producer behind the hit SYFY BSG show.

According to Deadline, 17 Precinct:

“…is set in the fictional town of Excelsior where magic and supernatural elements rule over science and revolves around the cops at the local 17th Precinct. Helfer will play Morgana, a necromancer, the magical equivalent of a coroner, who is an expert at manipulating the potions, tools, herbs and spells of her trade.”
