Benedict Cumberbatch Could Be In Batman Vs. Superman

A reporter for the BBC has posted an interesting Tweet suggesting that Benedict Cumberbatch may have a role in Batman Vs. Superman.

Apparently Cumberbatch was asked about rumors for Batman Vs. Superman, which the actor seems to not have denied.

Here’s the Tweet:

Let the speculation begin who – assuming it’s true – Benedict Cumberbatch could be playing.

Batman Vs. Superman already has a Superman villain with Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor; perhaps a second villain will be featured who will be a foe to Batman. The Riddler?

Benedict Cumberbatch has also been a fan-favorite choice to play Brainiac.

Update: Cumberbatch is rumored to play Martian Manhunter.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
