Ben Affleck To Star In And Direct Justice League Movie?!

Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. has approached Ben Affleck to direct the Justice League movie.

In addition, Variety also states that Ben Affleck is the only director to have been sent Will Beall’s Justice League movie script.

While comic book fans will certainly remember the awful Daredevil movie Ben Affleck starred in, Variety notes that Affleck did have success and critical acclaim with The Town, and says that Affleck “has ascended high on the studio’s list of filmmakers who can be trusted with prime properties.”

As of yet it is unknown if Ben Affleck will star in the Justice League movie (assuming he takes the director’s gig), but Variety notes that Affleck has made it clear that he’s only interested in directing films in which he also stars.
