Ben Affleck To Direct Justice League Movie Is “BullSh*t”

Yesterday the internet nearly exploded with the news that Ben Affleck might direct and star in the Justice League movie.

Variety reported that Affleck had a script in hand, and that he is Warner Bros. top choice to direct after having such success with The Town.

However, now Deadline is coming out and calling the story “bullshit.”

Deadline states that they heard about the story earlier, but chose not to run it after talking with Ben Affleck’s “people.”

Deadline says Ben Affleck’s reps have said “it’s not going to happen with him.”

While, true, WB may have offered Affleck the Justice League movie to direct, and Deadline even states Affleck might accept a meeting about it, it seems (according to Deadline) that Affleck will not assemble with the Justice Leaguers.
