And that’s a wrap for Batman Vs. Superman.
Cinematographer Larry Fong posting the following on Instagram confirming Zack Snyder has finished filming the movie that will introduce new Batman, Ben Affleck.
Snyder started filming Batman Vs. Superman earlier this year in Michigan, and previous to the New Mexico shoot, filmed scenes in Chicago.
Warner Bros. has yet to reveal an official plot for the film, but with the title being “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” fans can expect to see Batman taking on Superman in some way. In addition, Snyder will also be introducing the Justice League characters, including Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. As of right now, it’s only known the movie will feature one villain character: Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
Warners recently gave the Suicide Squad movie an August 5, 2016 release, which will follow Batman Vs. Superman, with Eisenberg also rumored to be appear.
A Wonder Woman film is on the slate for 2017, as well as the first Justice League movie.
2018 will see The Flash, and Aquaman;
2019: Shazam, and Justice League 2;
2020: Cyborg, and Green Lantern.
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
