[[wysiwyg_imageupload:9965:]]A reported list of top contenders for the Batman reboot has surfaced.
Though it’s reported that the script is still being written and casting has yet to begin, The Hollywood Reporter says they have inklings from sources that up for the new Batman is Josh Brolin, Joe Maganiello, Richard Armitage, Max Martini and Matthew Goode.
It’s said that Brolin, 46, is liked a lot by Warner Bros. with it said he is the frontrunner, while still another source dismisses the notion as casting hasn’t begun.
Gosling is 32; Maganiello 36; Armitage 41; Martini 43; Goode 35.
The report goes on to stress that sources state any talk of casting is premature, but this hasn’t stopped insiders and agencies from drawing up a list of names.
Our own DC Entertainment Source has told us Warner Bros. seems to be going for a younger Batman, which makes sense as it’s a new character, with Tyler Hoechlin.
Superman/Batman, the sequel to Man of Steel, goes into production next year for a 2015 release starring HenryCavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
