[[wysiwyg_imageupload:2432:]] Henry Cavill, the 29-year-old British actor, will play the new Superman in the Zack Snyder-directed Man of Steel movie next year.
Cavill got his start with a part in the Count Of Monte Cristo as well as the Showtime television series The Tudors.
He’s previously tried out for the role of Superman for “Superman: Flyby,” which went on to become Superman Returns, as well as the part of Bruce Wayne for Batman Begins, cited as a favorite by writer David Goyer, and also James Bond in Casino Royale.
Henry Cavill is also rumored to be taking Superman to the skies in the upcoming Justice League movie in 2015 and will be starring in the upcoming Great Wall of China mystery-thriller, The Great Wall.
So it’s no surprise that along the way, the dashing young super man has acquired quite the fan following.
Artist Hayley Olson posted the following piece of Henry Cavill on the Unofficial Henry Cavill Facebook Page, which I thought I would share.
“It means so much to me that someone else enjoys my art,” Olson posted in the comments section. “It was wonderful for me drawing someone who’s personality is as beautiful as his face. Henry is a class act!”
