Avengers Vs. X-Men #1 Is On Sale!

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:1120:]]A couple of us here at the CBN offices managed to grab an early copy of Avengers Vs. X-Men #1.

Actually, what happened was, copies made their way into our boxes of comics for this week’s batch.

We figured Diamond messed up again — however, it appears that the issue is being sold this week by some shops as Bleeding Cool reports that copies of AvX #1 are already on Ebay.

It was my understanding that only shops that signed up for the AvX parties were to receive their copies early, and I heard that they were sent in a special box with an embargo or warning.

I can say that this isn’t the case for all comic shops as, again, issues made their way into this week’s releases. And the issue wasn’t included on Diamond’s shipment list for this week (not that it ever stopped Diamond from shipping unordered products before), and it didn’t come in a special box or was embargoed.

So if your local comic book retailer isn’t paying too much attention to his comic book lot this week, you may be able to grab a copy “early.”

And if your shop is throwing an AvX party, I guess you gotta wait a few more days!
