Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Description Leaks: ‘One Day You Will Forgive Me’

UPDATE: Marvel didn’t wait for Hall H. The official trailer is out now, and this leaked description called the big beats. Full breakdown and leak scorecard here.

UPDATE: Avengers: Doomsday tickets go on sale next week, with the runtime revealed, and Adam Driver is said to be the villain of the MCU’s X-Men reboot.

Warning: Potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday below.

Marvel planned to unveil the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer in Hall H on July 25. The internet may have gotten there first.

A beat-by-beat description of the trailer surfaced Sunday on Reddit’s r/LeaksAndRumors, translated from a Russian Telegram channel, the same channel behind the earlier Gambit, Professor X, and Magneto image — and scooper MyTimeToShineHello amplified it within the hour.

The usual labels apply: it’s unverified, it went through translation, and the poster notes it describes a rough cut of the trailer, so the finished version may differ.

What The Leaked Description Says

Per the post, the trailer plays out like this:

  • It opens on Doom seated on his throne in Latveria, then walking his castle halls past a massive portrait of his wife and son.
  • Thor arrives with the Fantastic Four to meet the New Avengers, their ship touching down at the tower as the teams are introduced.
  • Steve Rogers reunites with a disbelieving Thor — and settles it by calling the hammer to his hand.
  • Steve tells Yelena that Natasha was family to him, which makes her family too.
  • Yelena fights her own double before Mystique’s shapeshift is revealed.
  • The X-Men turn up inside the Baxter Building.
  • Reed Richards, on comms with Doom, demands that he respond.
  • Loki appears in his TVA suit inside Steve’s house from the December teaser.
  • The centerpiece: Thor hurls Stormbreaker at Doom, who stops it with a wave of his hand.
  • It closes on Doom commanding the Sentinels — and one line of dialogue: “One day you will forgive me.”

Every Beat Rhymes With A Leak We’ve Already Covered

Here’s what separates this from the average Reddit fan fiction: nearly every shot lines up with something that leaked separately.

The portrait of Doom’s wife and son tracks with Doom’s leaked motivation, which has been pointing at his family from the start.

Doom commanding Sentinels as the closer matches the leaked 72-second clip of Doom and the Sentinels tearing into the X-Men.

Loki in the TVA suit inside Steve’s house extends a shot straight out of the December teaser — and squares with reports that Loki’s role is anything but small.

And Thor refusing to believe Steve is really standing in front of him is exactly what the validated plot outline sets up, with Rogers having spent years living in another universe.

Even the caveat fits. A description of a “rough version” of the trailer lands one day after reports that the Russos are still struggling to find the movie in the edit. Of course the trailer only exists as a rough cut. Everything does.

If someone faked this, they faked it after doing their homework — every beat maps to a separate leak that was already public. Two weeks before Hall H, that’s the difference between noise and signal, and this reads like signal.

As for that final line: it’s the plot leak’s ending in six words. Doom destroys the Multiverse, resurrects everyone with their memories wiped, and takes his throne over Battleworld. A villain asking forgiveness in advance is a villain who already knows how the story ends.

Marvel’s Hall H Problem Keeps Growing

Marvel locked Hall H for Saturday, July 25, precisely to debut this trailer.

The plot leaked in February and got validated this month. The editing-room reports leaked this week. Now the trailer’s shot list is out before the trailer. Marvel’s mystery box has a hole in the bottom, and everything keeps falling out of it two weeks early.

Cosmic Book News will be inside Hall H on July 25 to see how close this description lands. Until then, follow every update at our Avengers: Doomsday hub.

Avengers: Doomsday opens December 18, 2026.
