UPDATE: It’s claimed a full 4K version of Avengers: Doomsday has leaked online.
A new Avengers: Doomsday test screening reportedly scored higher than Avengers: Endgame.
The claim comes from scooper MyTimeToShineHello on X, who says a source reached out with an update on the movie.
“Good news: a source reached out. While there was a feud, it has been resolved, and there are currently no issues with Doomsday. In fact, another test screening was held, also featuring an unfinished post-credits scene that was just filmed,” posted the account.
“You’re probably going to hear all about it soon from trades and such. Movie scored higher than Endgame,” the account continued.
A follow-up post adds the movie “is still around 2 hours and 45 minutes long.”
None of this is official, but test screening talk on this movie has been positive since the spring, when early reports had Doomsday testing at the same level as Avengers: Infinity War.

The Feud Rumors Started On Set Last Year
The account didn’t name names, but set trouble stories have followed this production for over a year.
Last August, it was reported that Robert Downey Jr. had three weeks of Doctor Doom footage reshot after Marvel first shot the scenes with a body double in the suit, and described a set full of ego clashes.
Days later, a separate rumor named Wyatt Russell and David Harbour as the two actors in an on-set shouting match that ended in a shove. A claimed Downey-Reynolds feud was debunked along the way.
Just last week, Joe Russo confirmed the movie filmed without a finished script, calling the screenplay “a living organism.”
Per this new update, whatever was going on behind the scenes has been smoothed over, and there are “currently no issues” with the movie.

A Post-Credits Scene Was Just Filmed
The other detail here is that Marvel shot a post-credits scene for Doomsday just recently, a little over three months out from release.
The scene screened unfinished as part of the new test screening, so it’s already in the cut being shown to audiences.
The runtime is also holding at around 2 hours and 45 minutes, in line with earlier reports.
The same account also claims Marvel is eyeing Noah Schnapp, Wagner Moura, and Malachi Barton for MCU roles.
Before Doomsday arrives, the Avengers: Endgame Encore re-release hits theaters on September 25 carrying two Doomsday previews, with the second locked to IMAX and Infinity Vision screens.
Avengers: Doomsday opens December 18 in Infinity Vision, with IMAX in China. For everything confirmed, rumored, and leaked, see our full Avengers: Doomsday news and updates hub.
