Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday booth in Shanghai doesn’t open until Saturday, but the internet got inside first.
Photos from the build surfaced on social media this week, and they deliver two firsts: Doctor Doom’s throne and the interior of the X-Mansion.

Doom’s Throne Sits Under the Avengers’ Own Logo
The centerpiece of the booth is a pale stone throne on a stepped dais, with a giant black Avengers “A” suspended directly above it.
Subtle, it is not.
The stage is flanked by Doom-green panels done up in a stained-glass style, one appears to show Doom’s masked face, another The Avengers headquarters, and there is the Fantastic Four’s Baxter Building.
Overhead, the Marvel Studios logo glows green next to the film’s Chinese branding, 毁灭之日 — Doomsday.
There’s also a countdown clock mounted beside the logo, and it appears to be ticking down to December 18. Release day.

Inside the X-Mansion
The second set recreates Charles Xavier’s study: a brushed-steel X emblem mounted over the fireplace, walls of antique books, a chandelier, and a chrome wheelchair parked by the coffee table. The fireplace is even running.
Remember, the December teaser wave showed the Xavier mansion in ruins, pointing to X-Men who survived the Incursions. The booth builds it whole, “the before picture.”
With Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen leading a wave of returning Fox X-Men actors, Marvel putting the mansion on the show floor tells you how central the mutants are to this thing.

The Marketing Keeps Rhyming With the Leak
Per the plot document that has been circulating since February, which remains a rumor until Marvel says otherwise, though John Campea vouched for it on the record, Doomsday ends with Doom winning outright: collapsing the Multiverse, resurrecting the dead with their memories wiped, and ruling them as Emperor of Battleworld, straight out of 2015’s Secret Wars.
From a throne.
Days ago, Robert Downey Jr. amplified BossLogic chess art built on the same idea: Doom as the player, everyone else as pieces.
Now Marvel’s own booth puts a throne under the Avengers logo as its hero image. The studio isn’t hiding where this is headed. It’s selling it.
The Shanghai booth opens July 11, so expect plenty more from the show floor over the weekend.
