[[wysiwyg_imageupload:907:]]This past Monday saw tickets for the midnight screenings of The Avengers go on sale in select cities, which saw the debut of six new movie posters.
Then, AMC theaters announced the Ultimate Marvel Marathon featuring all five of the previous Marvel movies shown in order, which leads up to the midnight premiere of The Avengers on May 4th.
Tickets for that are only currently available at 10 cities, but according to the AMC website, “Tickets for more theatres will go on sale on March 16th.”
With more tickets being sold tomorrow at additional theaters for the Marathon, perhaps pre-sale tickets for The Avengers will be made available as well.
Update: Various AMC theaters have confirmed that tickets will go on sale at midnight — tonight!
Regardless, be sure to check your favorite movie ticket outlet to see if The Avengers tickets do go on sale. And if you happen to be in one of cities that sees additional Ultimate Marvel Marathon tickets become available — you may want to scoop them up ASAP as they come in a limited number and are sure to sell out!
You can also set an alert on the Fandago App, and get a text message when tickets do eventually go on sale.
The Avengers assembles May 4th, 2012 and is directed by Joss Whedon, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
