The Avengers (2012): Did a HeroClix Figure Spoil The Second Villain?

Now, this could mean something – or not, but a recently released HeroClix figure for their The Avengers movie line reveals none other than – the Red Skull!

MovieHole spotted the following blurb:

“Charging straight out of theaters and onto your tabletop, Marvel’s the Avengers Movie HeroClix set features heroes like Captain America and Thor as they battle the villainy of the Red Skull and Loki!”

Obviously, the inclusion of the Red Skull could just be HeroClix adding additional characters from the “Avengers” related movies, but the Red Skull did seemingly get transported to another realm at the end of First Avenger. Perhaps this is where he meets up with the diabolical Loki!

The Avengers assembles May 4th, 2012 and is directed by Joss Whedon, starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye.
