Information for next year’s Assassin’s Creed video game has leaked online.
Kotaku reports the new Assassin’s Creed game due out Fall 2015 will take place in London during the 19th century.
It’s stated the game has a title or code name of “Victory” and will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
It’s also said Assassin’s Creed “Victory” will be the only AC game next year, and there won’t be two separate games like Unity and Rogue for this year.
Seven minutes of gameplay footage has also leaked, with it described to be the “best-looking incarnation” of the game to date.
According to the report, the footage offers new gameplay innovation in that a different fighting style will be utilized, and there looks to be a grappling hook as part of the character’s movements.
The game’s creator, Ubisoft, offered the following comment on the leak:
It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we’re disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we’re excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin’s Creed Unity for players.
