Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Be Back For Terminator 5; Begins Filming In January

It was just reported that Terminator 5 would be moving to Paramount, and now Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed his involvement.

At the 21st Century Financial Education Summit in Australia, the Austrian Oak told TheArnoldFans that he will play the Terminator as well as mentioning his upcoming movies The Legend of Conan and the sequel to Twins, with Triplets.

In fact, I’m very happy that the studios want me to be in Terminator 5 and to star AS the Terminator, which we start shooting in January and I’m also going to do King Conan – to play that role and also to do another Twins movie. So I feel very proud of that. I feel very happy and I’m looking forward to doing those films.

As of now, Terminator 5 has a pair of writers attached to the script with Laeta Kalogridis (Shutter Island) and Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry); Justin Lin was previously said to be directing, but put it off due to the Fast & Furious franchise.

The Legend of Conan looks to have a 2014 release.
