Announcement For Ridley Scott’s New Blade Runner Coming Soon

Back in August it was made known that Ridley Scott will be doing a new Blade Runner via an official press release.

It didn’t really reveal much, other than a new Blade Runner is happening.

While not much more information has since been revealed, we can look for an announcement in the next couple of months.

Producer Andrew Kosove of Alcon Entertainment, who is partnering up with Ridley Scott, offered up, via The Playlist, that the movie is, “an extremely high priority for Ridley. This project is moving forward aggressively in development.” 

With that, Kosove said to look for news soon.

“Sometime in the first two months of the new year we’ll announce who the screenwriter will be and whether or not it’s a prequel or sequel. And then we’ll be off to the races.”
