Amazing Spider-Man (2012): Sneak Peaks Being Held February 6th

Sony is going to hold “sneak peaks” of their Amazing Spider-Man movie on February 6th in the select cities of Rio, New York and Los Angeles.

And movie goers will need to sign up to RSVP for tickets!

The UK website HeyUGuys became aware of an Amazing Spider-Man movie viral campaign when their readers sent in various images of Spidey being put up throughout the city. The images also included the url: TheUntoldStoryBegins.co.uk, which includes a form to submit info to RSVP, with the following: “This event will take place in London on Monday February 6th at 7.30pm for 8pm.”

ComingSoon.net became aware of the U.S. marketing campaign, and released the following URL for NYC residents: TheUntoldStoryBegins.com; however, they state it is not live as of yet.

The “sneak peak” might be the long awaited full trailer to the Amazing Spider-Man, or even include additional footage. It may just include the first look as Rhys Ifans as The Lizard.

The Amazing Spider-Man swings into theaters July 3rd, 2012 in 3-D and is directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard, Irrfan Khan as Nels Van Adder, Martin Sheen as Ben Parker, Denis Leary as Captain George Stacy, Sally Field as May Parker and C. Thomas Howell as Ray Cooper.
