It has been said that due to strict NYC laws, Webb wasn’t able to do the scene he wanted, so he is moving the Amazing Spider-Man 2 up north for a week or so.

We get further details from the shoot from the Rochester Business Journal that states Marc Webb will begin production on April 30th and that it may last until May 9th.

Action sequences will be shot on Main Street between South Plymouth Avenue and East Avenue, with portions of Main Street closed from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day until filming concludes, as late as May 9, officials said.

The city of Rochester has also set up their own Amazing Spider-Man 2 website where they keep updates on what roads and such will be closed. Included are small details about what Marc Webb plans.

The scenes filmed in Rochester will be action sequences that include car chases and other special effects.
