Amazing Spider-Man 2: Jamie Foxx Confirmed As Electro; Casting Call Announced “London Calling”

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:4379:]]Filming for Marc Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man 2 will begin filming February 2013 in New York City.

A casting call for the movie has been released for stand-ins for the actors as well as extras, with filming taking place in Los Angeles as well.

“London Calling” appears to be the working title, i.e. code name, given for the Amazing Spider-Man 2, which most likely is a take on the character of Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy (she heads off to London for schooling in the comics).

FeatureFilmCasting also states that Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx is, indeed, cast as Electro (previously, it was said he was in talks).

The “Amazing Spider-Man 2” swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Shailene Woodley.
